Course Objective:
Our mission is to “Make every consumer an Energy Manager” through a process of engagement, empowerment and expansion of skill-set of even those, who are not pursuing certification courses to become energy managers/auditors. When every employee becomes an Energy Manager, a corporation wins tremendously through sustained and greater energy savings and carbon footprint reductions.
Based on over 25 years of experience in implementing energy management programmes/projects across 200 buildings and multiple corporations like TECOM Group, Union Properties, Pacific Controls etc. in the UAE and several industries in India with the Confederation of Indian Industry, the workshop is designed to enhance and enrich attendee’s understanding of on-field energy management, through a tested Energy Management Governance Framework, thereby enabling technical, non-technical and general management people to become real-life Energy Managers.

Sougata has successfully set up various businesses in energy management over 20 years in the UAE: Energy & Resources Reduction profit centre for ServeU Facility Management, 2003 – 2005, Sustainable Energy & Environment Division (SEED) for TECOM Group, 2006 – 2011, Emirates Energy Star for Pacific Controls & Etisalat, 2011 – 2013Currently, Sougata has his own start-up Energy and Environmental Efficiency Advisory (3e Advisory) whose mission is to “MAKE EVERY CONSUMER AN ENERGY MANAGER”. He is also the Chairman of Climate Control Awards ME 2021. Sougata graduated as an Energy Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 1992. Subsequently, he completed his Masters degree in Energy Engineering from IIT Powai, Mumbai in 1994. Sougata was the second LEED AP from the UAE in 2005 and also became a PMP in 2008.
